Administrative Customer Service Representative

Position Summary: This position is responsible for being the front-line to all GATRA visitors and callers. This position will include interacting with GATRA clients to resolve customer service issues, answering phones, selling tickets, sorting and delivering mail, issuing reduced fare passes and all other customer service clerical responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Answering the phone in an accurate and professional manner
• Greet visitors and provide access to appropriate departments
• Registering seniors for GATRA’s Dial-A-Ride Service
• Processing IDs for Senior and ADA applicants as well as Employee and student ID’s
• Providing general customer service to riders including routes, schedules, and paratransit information.
• General ticket sales such as taking payments over the phone and mailing tickets
• Customer Service for GATRA’s electronic payment services

Other Responsibilities:
• Perform other duties as required or requested to ensure ongoing success of the organization

Position Requirements:
• Candidate should be willing and excited to learn about GATRA and GATRA services, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work as part of a fast-paced team.
• Candidate should have proficient computer skills and be willing and able to learn new software as needed.
• Excellent telephone etiquette. Ability to practice active listening, giving full attention to callers.
